What it shows

The character model and animations come from Quaternius’s Universal Animation Library, a single glTF file with the mannequin, its skeleton and about 120 clips. Movement doesn’t switch between a walk, jog and sprint animation. It blends all three by the character’s speed, and plays each one at the rate that matches its stride, so the feet don’t slide at any speed.

The character walks up the steps and the ramp without jumping. Crates can be pushed, picked up and thrown. A bell rings every few seconds, and its sound is positional, so walking around it moves it from one ear to the other. The pause menu has the renderer’s settings, and changes apply straight away to the scene behind it.

This is the largest download in the lab, and most of it is the animation library. Multiplayer only works on desktop for now.
