We collect as little as we can. This page says what that is, why, and who else sees it.

Who we are
This website is run by Latenite Studios LLC (“Latenite”, “we”), an independent game studio. We are responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about it, email hello@latenitestudio.net.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and see how fast pages load. They set no cookies and don’t follow you across other sites. They record the page you visited, the site that sent you, your country, and your browser, operating system and kind of device. Visitors are told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after a day, not by anything that identifies you.
Email. When you email us, we get your address, your name if you include it, and what you write. We use it only to reply and to follow up on what you asked about.
Server logs. Like any website, our host receives your IP address and browser details with each request, and keeps them briefly to run and protect the site.
Demos. The games in the lab run in your browser. Some may keep settings or progress in your browser’s storage; that stays on your device, and clearing your site data removes it.
We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else sees it
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics above.
- Google stores the lab’s demos and their media in Google Cloud Storage, and serves the font on the demo pages through Google Fonts. Loading those means your browser sends Google your IP address.
- Our email provider holds the messages you send us.
- Social sites such as Instagram, TikTok, Discord and Linktree, only if you follow a link to them. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Some of these companies are in the United States, so your data may be processed there.
Why we use it
We use analytics and server logs because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site working and understanding how it is used. We use your emails to answer you, which you asked us to do by writing.
How long we keep it
Analytics are kept in aggregate only. We keep emails for as long as the conversation is useful, and delete them when you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email hello@latenitestudio.net and we’ll answer within a month. If you are in the UK or the EU and aren’t happy with how we handled it, you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
Children
The site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has sent us personal data, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
